Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
Overview
ClipDock is a media workflow application used to organize prepared video files, captions, and publishing tasks for social media accounts. This Privacy Policy explains what information ClipDock may process and how it is used.
Information We Process
Depending on how you use ClipDock, the app and related cloud services may process:
- Video files, thumbnails, filenames, folders, captions, descriptions, hashtags, and metadata that you upload or sync.
- Publishing workflow data, such as whether a video was copied, opened, queued, downloaded, or marked as published.
- Instagram account identifiers connected through Meta APIs, such as account IDs, usernames, and access tokens required to publish content when you choose to use API publishing.
- Technical data required to operate the service, such as request logs, timestamps, error logs, and basic device or network information.
How We Use Information
We use information only to provide and improve ClipDock, including to:
- Display your media library and publishing queue in the iOS app.
- Sync video files, thumbnails, captions, and manifest data from cloud storage.
- Publish selected videos to connected Instagram accounts when you explicitly request it.
- Track local workflow statuses such as downloaded, queued, published, error, or archived.
- Diagnose sync, download, publishing, and API errors.
Cloud Storage and Processing
ClipDock may use cloud infrastructure, including Cloudflare R2 and Cloudflare Workers, to store media files, thumbnails, manifest files, and publishing configuration. Files remain under your control and are used for the ClipDock workflow.
Meta and Instagram
If you connect an Instagram account, ClipDock uses Meta APIs to authenticate the account and publish videos that you select. ClipDock may store access tokens required for this publishing workflow. You can revoke ClipDock's access at any time from your Meta or Instagram account settings.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share your content with third parties except as needed to operate ClipDock, process your files through cloud infrastructure, or publish content to services you choose, such as Instagram.
Data Retention
Media files and workflow data are retained while they are needed for your ClipDock workflow or until you delete them from your storage, clear cache, disconnect accounts, or remove related cloud resources.
Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect access tokens, publishing endpoints, and stored files. No internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should keep your account credentials and API tokens private.

- You can clear downloaded video cache from the ClipDock app.
- You can remove files from your cloud storage.
- You can disconnect or revoke Instagram access through Meta or Instagram settings.
